The Road Less Traveled
Lee Flat - President's Day 2008
While many friends took the hard road into Saline for the President's Day softball game, we took the road less traveled, and made a camp on Lee Flat, where we would spend the next few days exploring and hiking some of the region's more obscure attractions.
It was a relatively quick trip to one of our favorite camping spots, a few miles off the Lee Flat turn-off. Days were perfect, and nights were cold, dipping to the high 20's. We were glad to have a heated camper.
Within 20 minutes, our hotel was removed from the truck, and we were free to roam the country.
